Job Description
This position is part-time, 40 hours/pp, to work between Monday and Friday, 8:30a to 5:00p. This position cross trains to Patient Access Assistant roles and may pick up additional shifts as they become available to cover days, evenings and nights, and weekends and holidays as needed. Be aware that schedules and shifts are subject to change based on patient care and departmental needs.
Position Summary : Is responsible for providing prompt and courteous telecommunications between customers, patients, physicians and staff. Provides in-house paging services as well as performing routine Patient Financial Services' (PFS) tasks, including insurance billing of secondary claims, ERA posting of Medicare payments.

Required Skills
Requires : High school diploma or GED; computer and 10-key calculator proficiency and data entry skills; critical thinking skills; customer service skills; ability to multi-task; and 6 months previous office receptionist experience. In addition, must be able to provide prompt and courteous telecommunications between customers, patients, physicians and staff. Provide in-house paging services.
