North Valley Hospital has an excellent full-time opportunity for an experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join its professional Information Systems team!
The Network and Systems Administrator 1 is responsible for the day to day operational support of NVH networks and servers. Responsible for change management, organizing, modifying and supporting existing network and server infrastructure. This position will work closely with senior level resources to design and implement or improve new and existing technologies.

Full-time, 80 hours/pp, to work Monday through Friday, between 7a and 5p, occasionally works beyond scheduled shifts as needed; requires working weekends and evenings as required for project work. This position shares in call rotation of once every 8 weeks. Be aware that schedules and shifts are subject to change based on patient care and departmental/organizational needs.
ELIGIBLE FOR FULL BENEFITS THAT INCLUDE GROUP HEALTH/DENTAL, EARNED LEAVE AND RETIREMENT PLANS!
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires: Associates degree in computer technology or information management or 3 years' equivalent experience preferably in Healthcare.
Desire: Prefer experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and wireless network components. Web filter, network and server security principles, VMWare, SAN / NAS and Microsoft server 2003 2012 experience a plus. Ideal candidate would have exceptional troubleshooting skills with a customer service focus.
Skill Requirements
(A)Outstanding written and oral communication skills
(B)Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
(C)Strong analytical and problem solving skills
(D)Computer literacy 1.Ability to effectively manage and deploy all levels of Cisco network hardware both wired and wireless
2.Strong knowledge of enterprise network best practices
3.Strong knowledge of enterprise level network facilities management practices
4.Clear understanding of service level agreements and customer support
5.Understanding of Federal, State, HIPAA, etc. regulations and obligations as they apply to network technology
6.Track record of improving business processes using information technology
