Must work well in a team setting, but also be independent in staying on task without needing to be micromanaged.
The General Manager position is an essential role within I Love Vacations that maintains and grows our luxury rental brand through world class owner and guest experience with extraordinary property care.
? General Manager The GM will need to have general knowledge of residential/property management laws/guidelines, work independently, problem-solve, make decisions, and be in constant communication with direct team and other departments.

Responsibilities:
? Help create and implement strategies designed to grow the business.
? Develop and maintain professional relationships with local businesses and other property managers.
? Communication over email, phone and in person with.
? Assist to establish standardization of needed products/items and make suggestions on materials.
? Keeping accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, inventory, and purchasing.
? Maintain courteous communication with residents, guests, vendors & team.
? Responsible for meeting with vendors to establish expectations.
? Inspect homes to ensure expectations are being met.
? Inspect completed work orders to ensure expectations are met.
? Responsible for overseeing maintenance projects and repairs, vendor selection, administration, and training processes.
? Implement standard training policies and procedures for hiring staff as needed & ensure standards are maintained.
? Ensure tasks and projects are completed timely by yourself as well as staff, and are being well communicated.
? Educate yourself on governmental regulations and restrictions concerning maintenance procedures and/or health, safety and environment in the area.
? Participates in various departmental meetings, seminars, functions and community events.
? May participate in decision-making and/or recommendations regarding employee performance reviews, promotions, hiring and termination of employment.
